A Place In My Dreams

In my dreams a place exists
With bright green fields and deep blue drifts
The ocean reflects the essence of the sun
Soft music plays and all work is done
Flowers bloom, their sweet scents mix
That is how I get my fix
Darkness falls, the stars appear
The moon glows bright, then I am here
On the beach of pure white sand
Completely in contrast with the high land
Of the mountains so far away
Where I hope to stay someday
But for now I lay on the beach
Unmarred and untouched by anyone’s feet
Staring up at the stars with their pure white glow
And hearing the waves roll in, tranquilly slow
It’s so peaceful here in my dreams
I hope that I never have to leave
