Prologue: How It All Got Started
Faith Somers gently dusted the lens of her DV camera as she placed it on top of
the tripod in her hotel room. She turned it on, waiting for things to warm up,
and sat down on the bright floral printed sheets of the cushy queen sized bed in
front of it. Her attention turned back to the camera as her hand touched the
remote beside her. She pressed the record button and waited a couple of seconds
for her thoughts to come then she started.
“I should have done this a long time ago, but with things rushing by so fast,
I just didn’t have the time up until now. I should start from the beginning.
I’m Faith Somers, I’m 18 years old, and I just graduated from Glenbard East
High School. Class of 2002 baby! I’m going to Columbia College in downtown
Chicago to study film and someday become a world- renowned music video director.
“As of right now, my friends Spaz Lieberman and Morgan Fisher and I are in the
middle of the best summer of our lives. It all started out as a small idea, take
a road trip and see where it leads us. Our parents weren’t too thrilled with
the idea, but after a long period of deliberation, we were finally out on the
road, cursin’ and cranking up the volume on the CD player whenever a good song
came on. It was great, being far away from the distractions of our previous
lives. No work, only fun, that was our motto. So was party hardy. I don’t know
how many colleges we went to, but we always seemed to find ourselves drunk off
our asses with a pair of hot guys sleeping in between us.
“It wasn’t until about halfway through June that we decided to sober up and
start getting back to the real reason we were taking this road trip, female
bondage. With Spaz going to Texas A&M and Morgan going to Yale, that was the
last time we had to spend together.
“We headed to Joliet, Illinois for the B96 Summer Bash where Darren Hayes was
performing a set. And if you didn’t already know, I’m his biggest fan, but
right now, I’m gonna stick to my other story. We went to the Summer Bash for a
good time, and boy, did we get one…"
