Break
“That turned out to be one of the best days of my life. I never expected to
get so close to Darren, but when I did, everything around me seemed to change.
Everything became so much brighter and happier. The world was a better place.
“But boy, was Spaz pissed by what Darren had said at the breakfast table that
morning. She wouldn’t speak to any of us for the rest of the day. When we
reached Indianapolis, that’s when she started to talk again, but it still
wasn’t the same Spaz that I knew. She was pissed off still, and for some
reason, I sensed that she was planning her revenge. I didn’t know how, I
didn’t know when, but it was gonna be soon. I could see it in her eyes. The
only person she dared to talk to was Morgan.
“Morgan ended up telling me everything, and we both managed to diffuse the
situation before it reached explosive proportions. It turned out that Spaz was
pissed enough to try and get Darren to sleep with her just so she’d piss me
off to the point where I’d never speak to him again. Nice try, Spaz. Don’t
you dare try to get between me and Darren. You’re only gonna hurt yourself.
“Anyway, Indianapolis was great even though I got drunk again. See, we were at
this club…”
